2012 Home Trends | Wainscoting Wall Treatments
Formal Dining Rooms | Foyers | Powder Rooms
Want some subtle accents that say "wow" in your Raleigh new custom home?
Watch the short photo tour video below, and
see how you can add a splash of personality
to your new home with a wainscoting wall treatment.
What is wainscoting? Why should I include wainscoting in my Raleigh new home?
Wainscoting is a lower wall treatment that adds a more upscale, formal look to a room at minimal cost. Wainscoting usually consists of three parts: chair-rail molding, baseboard, and a series of design pieces in between.
Wainscoting can be found most often in formal dining rooms, foyer entryways, hallways and powder rooms. Wainscoting can also be used to accent a kitchen island.
