Mudroom Designs
What is a mudroom?
Mudrooms serve as a transition area between the outdoors and indoors, designed to keep your home clear of mud, debris, and clutter.
Mudrooms can double as large laundry rooms, with a washer, dryer, folding table, and sink for easy cleaning of
dirty clothing and outdoor items.
Mudrooms are usually placed adjacent to the garage, sometimes with a separate entrace.
Mudrooms can include:
- Easy-to-clean floors, made out of tile or outdoor carpet
- Built-in storage solutions, including: benches, hooks, racks, shelves, bins, closets, and/or cubbies for storage
- An optional pet entrance
Mudroom "drop zones" of builtins can be custom designed or purchased through cabinetry companies.
Ask us about creating a wall or alcove space that can accommodate a standard size locker set, which
you can add later on.
A 4 foot or 6 foot section of wall can be planned for future inclusion of shoe racks, coat hooks, and much more.
