Stanton Homes - Green Home Tour Special Events
The next series in the Stanton Homes ongoing education seminars will be 30 minute free, industry expert presentations on a variety of home building and improvement topics during the region's 5th Annual Green Home Tour May 15/16 and May 22/23.
 These break-out sessions will be offered during the ongoing self-tours
of green Stanton Homes in Chatham and Wake counties, with focus on budget-conscious green building and energy
efficient custom home building.
Expert advice will cover energy and water money saving possibilities for both new and existing homes.
Space is first-come, first-served, with no RSVP required. Drop in and join sessions throughout the day.
Saturday May 15th - Chatham County
On Saturday, May 15th, Stanton Homes will offer an educational series in its Green Home Tour
entry in Horizon, just 7 minutes south of Chapel Hill right off 15/501.
See a completed "Silver Level" green home custom designed by Stanton Homes, with a self-guided tour
discussing many of the different energy and water saving features of the home.
12 pm - "Buying a Lot" - Presented by Stanton Homes.
1 pm - "Green Mortgages and Appraisals" - Presented by Quick Turn Quality Appraisal and Primary Residential Mortgage.
2 pm - "Solar Water Heaters" - Presented by Southern Energy Management.
3 pm - "Rainwater Collection" - Presented by Rainwater Solutions.
4 pm - "Energy Wise - Guaranteed Energy Savings" - Presented by Stanton Homes.

Saturday May 22nd - Raleigh*
On Saturday, May 22nd, Stanton Homes will offer an educational series in North Raleigh, off Old Creedmoor Road. Guests can also tour a "Bronze Level" green home, currently under construction. There will be a self-guided tour discussing many of the different energy and water saving features of the home, and experts on hand to answer any questions regarding green water and energy savings ideas.

1 pm - "HERS Scores" - Presented by Southern Energy Management.
2 pm - "What is a Green Home?" - Presented by Stanton Homes.
3 pm - "Green Mortgages and Appraisals" - Presented by Quick Turn Quality Appraisal and Primary Residential Mortgage.
4 pm - "Spray Foam Insulation" - Presented by Healthy Home Insulation.
